Dentures & Partials What to Expect

The replacement of missing teeth with dentures will be a multi step process, which will begin with a consultation and evaluation of your oral health. Choosing the most appropriate option is important for the best possible result as well as addressing any other dental concerns.

If implants are to be used to secure your new cosmetic denture, we will schedule the surgical placement of the titanium implant post. If you are receiving All On Four dentures, we will coordinate the necessary diagnostics for planning your treatment.

Your dentist will need to take impressions and will work with you to color match your dentures to your existing teeth or natural appearance. In most cases, a temporary denture will be worn so that the soft tissues of the gums can adjust. A second set of impressions may be taken to ensure the most stable and comfortable fit after final placement.
